For adult patients, we feel that the initial appointment should be for a comprehensive oral exam. It is important that we have enough time to review your medical and dental history, to check all of your teeth for decay and defective fillings, to examine your mouth for oral cancer and periodontal disease, and to take the necessary diagnostic x-rays. After the dentist has diagnosed the results of your exam, we will see you for a consultation appointment at no additional charge to discuss our findings and outline recommended treatment, the amount of time for your treatment, and the cost of your treatment.

We believe in the benefits of regular preventative care, and encourage all of our patients to return for periodic recare visits. We encourage you to schedule your next preventative visit when leaving our office. We will contact you to confirm your appointment one or two days before your next visit.

At the time of your recare visit, please advise the receptionist or dental assistant of any change in your overall health, any medications you are taking, as well as any address, telephone number, employment or insurance changes.

We recognize that emergency situations do arise and we will do our best to respond to you as quickly as possible. If an emergency arises during normal office hours, please call the office as early in the day as possible. We reserve special times for patients with emergency needs, and you will be seen as quickly as possible.
