The staff at Vassey Dental Partners recently dabbled in the culinary industry when they published a cookbook and donated the proceeds from sales to Fayette Youth Protection Homes. The project, the brainchild of Dr. Michelle Konwick, raised $2,000 for the local non-profit organization, which provides shelter to children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect.With thirty staff members contributing their favorite recipes and offering input on layout and design, the cookbook sells for $10 and offers a variety of mouth-watering recipes.

Dr. Konwick says, “We put the cookbooks on display in patient rooms and in the waiting room. When patients learned proceeds were going towards such a good cause, the books just flew off the shelf.” Copies are still available and can be purchased by calling 770-487-5346.
